An Inside-Out Journey to a Body You’ll Love
If you have always had a sense that you are the only one who truly knows what’s best for your body, then you’re right! There is no one-size-fits-all formula to good health. That’s why we tend to have such short term results on diets, exercises, etc….because they’re not in synch with what our individual bodies really want and need. Happy Mind-Healthy Body began as a program I created for myself to lose some excess weight and get back to feeling good in my body again. The results I experienced in just the first few weeks were so inspiring that I just knew I had to share it with others. Here are a few things that I experienced in the first four weeks:
The more I thought about it my results, the more I loved the idea of walking this journey with a group of women – a tribe – who share common desires and common life experiences, who can support and nurture each other as well as hold each other accountable, and who will hold the vision of each as we move toward our natural state of well-being. I’ve recently completed an extensive twelve month coaching program in which I learned how to help others (and myself) create whatever they want to be, do or have by aligning their thoughts and emotions with their desires. You see, our thoughts create our realities, and our current experiences are a direct reflection of what’s going on in our heads. (I’ll explain why during this course.)
So let’s take our bodies for example. Imagine for a moment that you are feeling really good in your body. What does that feel like? What emotions are you experiencing as you revel in how good you feel in your body? Does walking and moving around in a healthy and fit body make you feel… Confident? Free? Empowered? Secure? Excited? Eager? Proud? Adventurous? Joyful? Like you’re walking on air? Go ahead…feel these emotions right now as you focus on feeling good in your body.
Now, let me ask you this…Are these the same feelings and thoughts that you have about your body right now? I’m betting what you think and feel about your body right now is very different from what you would be thinking and feeling if you had the body you want. And that’s where you’re out of alignment. You cannot focus on what is and experience something different.
Weight loss is a multi-billion dollar industry, and yet millions of people buy the products and work the plans only to find them ineffective – especially in the long term. That’s because none of these solutions address the real source of health and fitness – your thoughts! Your physical health, your body, is a by-product of your thoughts. Period.

HOW will you change your thoughts, focus on pleasure and release stress?
Notice that I have not said a word about diet or exercise. That’s because that’s not your work. Your body will communicate what it desires to eat and how it desires to move as it becomes the body you are wanting. Your work is to align your thoughts with what you are wanting to experience in your reality. Here are some of the ways you’ll be practicing new ways of thinking:
You will learn about the Law of Attraction and how your thoughts are always creating. This knowledge will empower and guide you as you become aware of the current thought patterns that are blocking you from the body you desire and those that will help you achieve what you are wanting easily and joyfully.
You will connect with your Higher Self through guided meditations. Becoming aware of your Higher Self, your Inner Voice, gives you instant access to wisdom, guidance and love throughout the journey.
Also through guided meditations you will connect with:
- Your Future Self who will help you move forward in life with much more confidence and certainty;
- Sub-Personalities who may unintentionally be holding you back because of old beliefs or flawed perspectives. Connecting with sub-personalities gives you the opportunity to heal their hurts, expand their perspective and get them working with you instead of against you towards your current goals.
To release the stress quickly and easily, you will learn Emotional Freedom Technique – also called EFT or Tapping. EFT is considered “energy medicine” and is a practice of tapping on the upper body’s acupressure points while focusing on the stressor. It has proven extremely effective in releasing stress, pain and weight as well as healing PTSD, addictions and Fibromyalgia. In a recent study at Griffith University School of Medicine in Australia, 89 Women used EFT for an average of 15 minutes a day, with no diet or exercise, and lost an average of 16 pounds over an 8 week period!
Between classes, you will practice thinking new thoughts, increasing pleasure in your life and decreasing stress by meditating, doing EFT, journaling and other mental exercises that I will suggest throughout the course. This is your work. Doing these things will change your thoughts, change your body, and change your life. The choice is yours. You and only you are in control.
